What are examples of Streaming Devices?

Any of the following can be used to Stream Television content using a Streaming TV Service Provider:

SmartTV (How can I tell if I have a SmartTV?)
Roku Streaming Stick+, Roku Ultra, or Roku Express
AppleTV
Amazon Fire TV Stick
Playstation gaming console
Xbox gaming console
Roku Ultra or Roku Ultra LT are the best options if you must have Ethernet due to weak WiFi signal, and ethernet is available at that TVs location
Roku Express+ (2018) can be purchased for use with older TVs that do not have HDMI (TVs that only have composite A/V cable inputs)

We recommend Roku Streaming Stick+ for most users who are not sure what to purchase.

You can think of these devices as the new equivelent of a Set Top Box for cable. Each TV that is not already a SmartTV needs one of these devices to provide streaming TV service to that television set.
